The STIHL SHA 140 is a professional-grade cordless vacuum shredder designed to deliver exceptional performance for landscaping, grounds maintenance and commercial garden care. Part of the STIHL AP System, it provides up to 15% more suction power than the petrol-powered STIHL SH 86, offering outstanding debris collection with the convenience of battery power.

Capable of vacuuming and shredding leaves, grass clippings and hedge trimmings, the SHA 140 performs efficiently across a wide range of surfaces including lawns, flowerbeds, gravel, concrete and asphalt. The integrated metal shredding blade reduces material volume, allowing the collection bag to hold more waste while helping speed up the composting process.

Designed with productivity in mind, the SHA 140 can be assembled and the collection bag removed without the need for tools. Wide access openings make clearing blockages quick and straightforward, while the ergonomic handle design and balanced collection bag position provide excellent comfort during prolonged use.

The robust collection bag features ventilation openings to maintain consistent suction performance regardless of fill level. Instead of a zip, durable metal buckles provide quick, reliable opening for fast and complete emptying.

A variable speed trigger allows precise airflow control, while an integrated Boost mode delivers maximum suction power whenever required. The SHA 140 is also IPX4-rated for use in wet weather conditions and features a Smart Connector 2A port for seamless integration with STIHL connected fleet management.

Using the recommended AP 300 S battery, the SHA 140 provides up to 60 minutes of runtime, or up to 38 minutes when operating continuously in Boost mode.
