The STIHL HLA 40 Cordless Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer is a lightweight and versatile solution for trimming tall hedges, shrubs and bushes from the ground. As the first long-reach hedge trimmer in the STIHL AS System, it combines cordless convenience with impressive reach, making it ideal for homeowners looking to maintain taller garden hedges with ease.

Powered by the interchangeable STIHL AS 2 lithium-ion battery (sold separately), the HLA 40 features a tool-free telescopic shaft that extends from 200cm to 260cm and a 45cm double-sided cutter bar with adjustable blade angles from -45° to +70°, allowing you to trim hedge tops, sides and awkward angles comfortably.

Laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened blades provide precise, clean cuts with low vibration, while the lightweight design, soft-grip loop handle and shoulder strap offer excellent comfort during prolonged use. For easy transport and storage, the shaft separates without tools, reducing the overall length to just 115cm.
