The STIHL AP 500 S Battery is the most powerful battery in the STIHL AP System range, delivering exceptional performance, long runtimes and advanced technology for demanding professional users. Designed for use with STIHL AP System tools, this high-capacity 36V Lithium-Ion battery is ideal for landscaping, grounds maintenance, arborist and commercial gardening applications where dependable cordless power is essential.

With a substantial 337 Wh energy capacity and 8.8 Ah output, the AP 500 S provides extended operating times, helping professionals work longer with fewer interruptions for charging. It also features a Power Boost function, which works alongside selected STIHL tools to temporarily deliver peak power outputs of up to 3.5 kW for particularly demanding tasks.

Built using advanced power laminate technology, the AP 500 S offers significantly improved durability and longevity compared to traditional cylindrical cell batteries. Designed to withstand intensive daily use, it delivers approximately twice the charging cycles of standard AP batteries, offering a service life that can approach 10 years under typical professional working conditions.

The battery includes an integrated LED charge level indicator, allowing users to quickly monitor remaining power at a glance. It also features the latest generation of STIHL connected, enabling fleet operators and professional users to monitor battery data such as charge cycles, usage history and discharge times through the STIHL Connected App.

Designed for year-round professional use, the AP 500 S is weather-resistant and equipped with a cold start function that protects the battery cells in low temperatures by gently warming them before use. This allows reliable operation in conditions as low as -20°C.

Like all STIHL AP System batteries, the AP 500 S uses intelligent battery management technology to provide consistent power output throughout the discharge cycle, maintaining strong performance from full charge right down to low battery levels.
