The Barbour Bedale® Waxed Jacket in Sage is one of Barbour’s most iconic men’s jackets, combining traditional country styling with practical features originally developed for equestrian use.

First designed in 1980, the Bedale features a shorter length and comfortable regular fit with rear vents for freedom of movement. It is constructed from Barbour’s mediumweight 6oz waxed cotton, providing durable protection while remaining suitable for year-round wear.

Classic details include a corduroy collar, brass two-way ring-pull zip and studded Stormfly front. Two large bellows pockets provide generous storage, while moleskin-lined handwarmer pockets offer extra comfort in colder weather. A nylon inner drip strip adds further practicality.

The jacket is also compatible with optional Barbour zip-in thermal liners and hoods, allowing it to be adapted for changing conditions throughout the year.
