The ideal pool pH level is between 7.2 - 7.6, promoting bather comfort, optimal chemical efficiency and protection of pool plant equipment. If the pH Test result is above 7.6, correct using this granular aid to lower. Problems associated with pH levels above 7.6 are Scale formation, Filter calcification, Cloudy water, Drying to skin & reduced effectiveness of Chlorine. Spa pH can also be used for lowering Total Alkalinity  if it rises above 150mg/l (ppm).
